Flu season is well upon Sacramento, and the added pressure of the COVID-19 pandemic has created an even greater need for flu shots to be accessible to all communities across the city. To increase access to flu shots and other important health services the Sacramento Promise Zone, Health Net, Mutual Assistance Network, Sacramento Covered, and St. Paul Church of God in Christ partnered to put on the Fall Flu-Vention health event on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. Tyrone Roderick Williams, Deputy Executive Director of Development for the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, has been appointed to serve on the Affordable Housing Advisory Council of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco. The 15-member panel provides expert guidance to lenders in Arizona, California, and Nevada on economic development and affordable housing. The Affordable Housing Advisory Council also helps form the bank’s community grant and credit programs
