Black History Month celebrates the past, present, and future contributions of Black people in America and throughout the world that have helped to create a more equitable society. The role of the Sacramento Promise Zone is to facilitate partnerships between federal, state and local agencies to give local leaders proven tools to improve the quality of life in some of Sacramento’s most vulnerable areas. We are committed coordinating resources, building capacity and creating public-private partnerships for you (our partners) to drive area revitalization with following goals:
