In early November, the Education Action Team and Art Team partners came together to discuss challenges to incorporate art programs into schools. As a result, the Sacramento Promise Zone reached out to the National Endowment for the Arts and the Department of Education to conduct a webinar focused on best practices to engage and integrate the arts in education. In addition, the webinar will touch upon possible funding opportunities to support these efforts. This webinar is an important opportunity for local partners to hear from federal partners about other art education models across the country. This is also an opportunity to build support and share information among local partners in the Promise Zone.
