The Sacramento Literacy Foundation donated 30,000 books to be given to 3,000+ children from kindergarten through second grade attending public schools in the Sacramento Promise Zone, Sacramento City and Twin Rivers Unified School Districts.
Sacramento Literacy Foundation has partnered with La Familia Counseling Center, PRO Youth & Families and the Sacramento Promise Zone/SHRA to mobilize volunteers who will help organize and bag books so that they can be delivered to Sacramento City and Twin Rivers Unified School District for distribution to students and families.
