20th Annual Season of Doing Good
This year, the Kings partnered with Raley’s to spread holiday cheer through the 20th Annual Season of Doing Good. The celebrations, which began in November, continued throughout the month of December, and included Eat Like a King hosted at Golden 1 Center to provide a festive holiday meal, served by Kings players and coaches, for 250 youth and families. Kings guard Robert Woodard II also helped residents at an SHRA senior housing unit get into the spirit by delivering holiday-themed decorations, pillows from Mattress Firm and food donations. Later in the month, Raley’s and the Kings business staff partnered with SHRA to treat the Alder Grove housing community to Shop Like a King, a secret Santa event, providing gift cards and nonperishable items for 250 residents!
