Housing Choice Voucher Program Tenant-Based Vouchers
SHRA will open the Housing Choice Voucher Program Tenant-Based Voucher waiting list effective Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 8 a.m. until Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. Applicants may apply at www.sacwaitlist.com using any device with internet access. A total of 5,000 applicants will be placed on the waiting list through random selection after the waiting list has closed.
Additional waiting lists for Project-Based Voucher and affordable housing will open on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 8 a.m. until further notice:
1. Mirasol Village Project-Based Voucher, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 bedroom units
2. Elderly Project-Based Voucher (62 years or older, or near elderly ages 50-61), 1 bedroom units
3. Affordable Housing Waiting List Moderate Rehab Program Single Room Occupancy (SRO)
Preferences are given to households who are homeless or rent burdened, have a household member who is a veteran, have a household member who is disabled, and who live, or work or have been hired to work in Sacramento County. There is no charge to apply and applicants must have an email address to submit a pre-application. For more information, go to www.sacwaitlist.com.
